Diana Neves de Carvalho


Blending consultancy, management and information technology expertise, Diana’s problem-solving talents, ‘make it happen’ spirit and passion for innovation brought her to Exago’s leadership in 2016. She had been our vice president of business services since 2013, capitalising on her previous solid experience in two of the Big Four companies, KPMG and Deloitte. Besides being a fan of skiing, she cannot turn her back on bold enigmas and recently launched her own escape game project in Lisbon.

Pedro da Cunha

Co-founder and Member of the Board

Pedro’s had a clear passion for innovation since he began a career researching robotics, having later worked as a consultant and business manager in firms focused on IT and Management Consulting. He’s been involved in creatively applying technology and progressive corporate ventures, throughout a career spanning multiple countries and industries. He lives sometimes in Lisbon, Portugal. Pedro is a rugby fan and a keen sailor.

Pedro do Carmo Costa

Co-founder and Member of the Board

Pedro do Carmo Costa’s career has centred on the art and science of innovation for almost 15 years. He’s worked to help large companies build an internal capacity for innovation, to evolve and grow successfully. Prior to co-founding Exago, he worked at Strategos with innovation thought leaders such as Gary Hamel and Peter Skarzynski. Pedro lives in London and is the proud father of four.

Miguel Esteves


Miguel is an active business advisor and remains one of the guardians of Exago’s body of knowledge, having developed our US patented predictive markets algorithm. With a solid background in technology management, he holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and an MBA from INSEAD. Miguel is an apt tennis player, but currently spends most of his free time keeping his two young daughters busy.

Cristina Silva Bastos

Chief Communications Officer

Cristina’s commitment to causes makes her a frontrunner in the quest to make innovation come together in organisations. Having worked with high profile corporate players, she has developed an analytical mind, hands-on executive skills, team player spirit and is continually building better communication bridges. The search for new ways of looking at things drive her passion for travelling and learning about subjects such as collaborative innovation and sustainable development.

Marco Grácio

Head of Product and Technology

Marco joined Exago’s team in 2010 as senior software developer, going on to head the Product and Technology Department. With strong skills in agile software development and Microsoft technology (ASP.NET and SQL Server), Marco is a natural team leader, and he has a unique depth of knowledge about Exago’s software. A triathlon practitioner, he is driven to achieve goals and is particularly well equipped to manage new challenges.

Francisco Bernardes

Head of Innovation Services

Francisco’s multicultural and multidisciplinary experience in consulting and management in several industries around the globe allows him to optimise the balance between information technology and the Innovation Services Department’s needs. His collaborative attitude, high level of motivation and out of the box thinking brings the entire team together to focus on providing quality services to our clients. As a motorsport and bodyboarding enthusiast, Francisco loves the thrill of covering ground fast yet steadily to achieve established objectives.

Andreia Agostinho Dias

Sales Executive

Experienced in a wide range of IT sales and passionate about innovation and communication, Andreia works to accelerate our idea management software’s expansion in key geographies. She developed the capacity to understand clients’ needs and questions about how particular solutions can help them meet their goals, in over a decade of sales services and digital commerce practice at IBM. Excellence and resilience mark her work. These skills and discipline have also proved quite useful when Andreia negotiates ‘all the time, about everything’ with her two young boys.
